This tour is designed and led by Chef Susana Trilling, a renowned authority on Oaxacan cuisine, who is a teacher, author and TV host and the director of Seasons of My Heart Cooking School in Oaxaca, along with Todd Coleman, an award-winning photographer and writer who is the editor-at-large at Tasting Table and former executive food editor of Saveur. Oaxaca has a unique story to tell, its gastronomy and culture are unparalleled and a trove of endless wonders. From its deeply delicious tapestry of moles, tamales and tlayudas to its hidden mountain farms and the intricate lives of the locals. On Holy Week, Oaxaca explodes into a place that must be experienced to believe it! If you don’t see it at least once, you’ll regret it forever. This 7 day - 6 night course is designed to cover everything a magazine story would delve into, with tours and expert guidance during this magical week, including cooking in Teotitlán del Valle with the Hernandez family; street photography instruction and photo session in a mountain village; many lively and colorful processions; photography through markets followed by cooking classes; a late night taco run; food styling shoots; and much more.

1How do I know my payment was received ?
You should receive an email confirmation every time you make a payment, typically within a week of receipt of the check.
2What if I need to cancel?

3What is not Included in the course?
Transfers from Airport, Alcoholic beverages, laundry and phone calls.
4When will I receive a detailed itinerary for the course I am taking?
Once you send a deposit and sign up for the course.
5Help! I don’t know what to pack for my course!
A detailed letter with a packing list will be sent, together with the itinerary for the course a few weeks before your departure!
6I would like to arrange a private course with Susana for a group of friends. Can that be arranged?
Absolutely! We do ask that you contact us well in advance with possible dates and interests of the group. Susana has done course for groups of chefs, family groups and friends of varying lengths of time within Oaxaca and also in other areas of Mexico. Private classes can also be arranged.
