One of the highlights of our tour is the boat ride experience on a Trajinera. Here we'll explore the canals of Xochimilco, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the locals. They will share with us the secrets of how they grow their vegetables and their sustainable agricultural techniques on "Chinampas," a unique floating garden invented by the Aztecs. This magical boat ride will allow us to experience a slice of traditional Mexican life. We will also get to taste fresh, organic, and locally grown ingredients that are sourced straight from the "Chinampas" by our hosts for a special breakfast experience.
México City is also a cultural hotspot, and our tour will take you to some of the city's most iconic landmarks, such as Bellas Artes, Zocalo, Torre Latinoamericana, the museum of Frida Kahlo and more. We'll enjoy street tacos, listen to Mariachis, dance salsa and eat “antojitos” at the local cantina. México City is the home of incredibly creative, sophisticated and well curated restaurants that feature honored Chefs and show off the impecable traditional service that fine dining in México is known for.
Finally, we'll visit the ancient archeological ruins of Teotihuacán, another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you'll get to explore the incredible pyramids that date back to 100 B.C. You will be accompanied by expert guides who will share their in-depth.
You will have time to shop and explore the surroundings that this beautiful city has to offer.
